Supernastics

Superheroes + Gymnastics = Supernastics!

SUPERNASTICS is not your average Gymnastics provider, we like to warm up with Incy-Wincy Spider.

Then onto our hand apparatus what will it be?

We'll use them for role play, that's right (you'll see!)

Now drum roll please for the main event,

For the NEW piece of apparatus your coach will present.

From Balancing beams to High-bar with rings,

Each week you'll be faced with exciting new things.

Now everyone breathe, it's time to cool down.

You'll feel like the coolest superhero around!

Fundamental Movements and Sports

Sports with Lissy

I have always loved sports and working with children and am lucky to be able to combine both for a living.

I spent almost 10 years working in a primary school as a Teaching Assistant and Sports Leader, while completing multi sports and invasion games courses as well as qualifications in Football, Volleyball and Tennis.

I also studied an SAQ Award which focuses on speed and agility. During this course there was the opportunity to study an SEM award. This was to gain a better understanding of how to identify, evaluate and support children with extra needs in their fundamental movements, and to ensure all children have an inclusive environment to improve co-ordination, balance, strength and reactions.

This is something I incorporate in to my fundamental movement session as well as my tennis coaching.

I am an LTA Accredited Level 2 Coach, primarily working with children under 8 to help develop tennis programmes for Pre-schooler's.

Story Dance Pros

Hollie

I’m Hollie,

I teach weekly story dance themed classes designed to help develop their co-ordination, balance skills, musicality, physical fitness and wellbeing. Our classes are fun, educational, and engaging. I’ve been teaching dance for over 10 years now and specialise in early years. With lots of fun equipment and props to hand, their endless imagination and the music it’s lots of fun. We work on their key motor skills and are always inspired by the EYFS framework. Themes change every month from learning about heathy eating to help encourage children develop positive habits, such as good food choices, hygiene, self-esteem, and safety. Other themes explore their imagination with a pirate ship at sea, then to a lion hunt in the jungle. We explore learning through dance using these themes and exercise movements too. I hold my Diploma in Dance Education through the imperial society of dance. I have two young children that absolutely love music & dance so they also fuel my creativity.
